Early spring in my neighborhood is a better time for black, white, and muddy brown, not so much for color, but there is color that sticks around all year long. The purple house (no, there is no Photoshop involved!) inspired this collection — we also have some beautifully painted Victorians, and if I can get out again when the sun is shining and there is no snow in the forecast, I’ll post some pictures of those beautiful painted ladies.

Wow, beautiful houses. I wonder what shade I’ll be painting mine.
You should paint it whatever color makes you happy, even purple! 🙂

Hey–purple’s my favourite colour…but maybe not on my house :>)
That purple house shocked me at first, but it grows on you for sure. I think I’d like to meet the people who live there. 🙂

Love the green and the chocolate coloured houses! 🙂
There is another house in town that reminds me of a chocolate mint patty every time I see it. If I ever get some sunshine, I’ll grab a picture of that one, too.
