Weekly Photo Challenge: One Shot, Two Ways

For some reason this year, I have just been struck with how beautiful the countryside around me is. Maybe it was the wet, drippy spring that made everything so green and lush that made me sit up and notice for the first time. The corn is a month away from harvest, and this shot was taken from a gravel road, over a ditch of “natural prairie” with a young cottonwood tree on the left side,  and into a corn field with the homestead in the distance. The second shot, of course, is a close up of what I think are called oxeye sunflowers.
