I’m a fifty-something wife and mom of three, part-time librarian and full-time procrastinator. I blog to clear my head and remind myself of what really matters in life. Sometimes, when you write things down, they make much more sense than when you endlessly run them around in your head.
In this blog you’ll meet my children, my husband, my co-workers, my friends and all my extended family, each with their own endearments and, umm, non-endearments. MARSOC stands for Marine Special Operations Command. My son is training to be a Special Forces Marine, which he has wanted for a very long time, and I am very proud of him.
Thanks for wondering about me. I am here in this wonderful WordPress community for the long haul, and I hope to meet a lot of you as I figure out how this all works.

Have been reading your posts – looks like library customers are the same the world over! At least, maybe after a little grr to ourselves, we can laugh about them!
I know π You have to laugh and just not stress about it. People are funny.
I am looking forward to reading more of your posts, too.
Too many good books, too little time…I think the same can be said of blogs, too. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I loved your “Above” entry to the WPC and your blog so far. You got yourself another follower π
Warm regards,
Mary
Thank you, Mary! I hope I can find some quiet time very soon to explore your blog more. I appreciate your comments very much. π
I think you have discovered the next new TV show! We have so many “CSI’s” and the like, why not “MARSOC” ?? Seems you are quite busy and that’s great! Thanks for visiting my place. Good luck to you and please visit again soon.
Jeff,
Redo…
That’s a great idea! Thanks for visiting my blog, too.
My pleasure. Remember my name in the credits of your new show. Have a great weekend!
Jeff
Thanks for stopping by my blog! I’m enjoying discovering your blog, and catching up on some of your posts. My son is no longer active duty, but proud mom of a Marine Sgt. here!
It’s great to meet you, and I have been encouraged by your blog…we seem to have a lot in common! Thanks for posting. π
So glad I found your blog; I so relate to what you say about blogging. π
Thank you, Su, I’m glad you stopped by! Blogging is like keeping a diary that I never have to worry that someone will find when I’m gone. π
π until you log in one day and discover half your family is following you – and sharing it with the other half!
LOL! And that’s happened, for sure. It’s nice to have multiple blogs π
True: I must be descended from Sherlock Holmes or something cos even in cyber-space there is nowhere to hide. Or maybe I just need a new, better disguised blog. Then I’d never get any work done π
I hear you. I could spend hours here if I only had the time!
